Pixillations are fun! - Sept. 10

9/10/2011

Well, I hope everybody enjoyed making our first animation: we still need a working title and to add the second part!

For Friday: Remember to come with an idea, some objects, etc., to put together your own short pixillation.  Come up with a simple story, too, to give us a reason everything in your animation works...Beginning, Middle, End.

This week I'm going to come up with a new way to mount the webcams between the computers so we can all share them easily.  I've armed myself with several options...so we'll see how it all works.

Mr. Jaco, Check out this website, www.johnframesculpture.com. I saw it at the Huntington Gardens. Did you?

Phillip,

Thanks for this. No, I hadn't seen it, but it's certainly very disturbing, fantastic, and mesmerizing!

What did you think of it?

It was really interesting how he built the tiny figures from scraps. I might try to do something like that sometime. They looked very intricate and hard to operate. It was nice to see them in an animation and it must have taken him a long time!
